Come join us at Ruakaka Races and treat the whole family to classic summer memories with a fun-filled day trackside at the Trigg Family Fun Race Day on Tuesday 7 January.

There are lots of free Kids Activities in the Trigg Kids Zone including Rockup Norths Pirate Ship Adventure Playground, Inflatable Axe throwing, assorted games, colouring and the traditional kids events on the track, with a couple of food trucks from Coastal Kitchens and The Strawberry Lady in the Kids area.

Sing along to Henry and Shilo from A2Stix back entertaining you in the Corona Courtyard between races.
There are a variety of food trucks are in the food court on the hill including Sweet Chimney Hungarian Fried Bread, Lola's Kitchen, Smouldering Hog, Churro Loco and your coffee fix from The Morning Glory Cart.

Get your Punters Club ticket from the main gate entry or at the Grandstand table and let our Track Spy make the selections and bets for you. Bets and Results will be displayed on the big screen and around course with the payout results announced after race 6.

The first race is set to start at 12.40pm and the last race (of 7) 4.13pm.  The $35,000 Trigg Construction Northland Cup will be run over 2100 metres at 3.37.

There's the free return bus service from Whangarei -  Picking up approx 10.30am Kamo Club, 10.35am Kamo Hotel, 10.45am Kensington Tavern, 10.55am Rose St Bus Terminal, 11am Judge House of Ale. Also 11.30 am Ruakaka Beach Motor Camp,  11.35am One Tree Point Dairy, 11.45am Marsden Cove Marina. The buses return approx 15-30 minutes after the last race.

Come along and enjoy the casual summer afternoon of country racing. For the locals there is not another meeting until June 28th so best to be on-course this coming Tuesday.
