The Matamata meeting on Wednesday February 9th has been re-allocated to be run as a Whangarei Racing Club meeting at Ruakaka.
With the short notice, the meeting will be held as a CLOSED INDUSTRY MEETING meaning only licensed persons and officials working on the day are able to attend. NZTR’s conditions of entry such as a vaccine pass, use of masks, isolated scales area and display of licences will apply.
The meeting will NOT be a twilight meeting with the last of the races scheduled to be run no later than 5.34pm.
The official opening meeting of the 2022 Ruakaka season is scheduled for Wednesday April 13 and the Club will, even under the red traffic light restrictions, plan on pods of 100 for Members and Owners for meetings from that date forward.
Let us hope the traffic light restrictions have been removed before the Club’s autumn race meetings on April 13 and May 4th.
