General admission: 

Free entry and parking

Gates open: 11am.

Come dressed in relaxed mid-week casual wear but remember it is an outdoor event and is weather dependent. There are under-cover areas available for all facilities excepting car parks.

As an outdoor sports events there maybe changes to what is available and the timing of events. Read the Ts and Cs of entry in the About Section.

Transport and Car Parking: 

Car parking at the course is free.

There will be a free return raceday bus from  Pick up points are   Kamo Club;   Kamo Hotel;  Kensington Tavern; Rose Street Bus Terminal;  The Judge House of Ale. Other pick up points can be arranged for large groups by contacting the office.

Food, Beverages and Betting Operations

Bars, Bayview Cafe, espresso coffee and betting operations will be open from 11am. Betting on the TAB NZ App is welcome and the Club receives a commission at the same rate as betting with an operator. Bookings taken now for the Mid Week Luncheon @ The Races - see below for details.

Indoor/Outdoor Options

Choose your spot .. ..on the lawn hill, on the seats in the shade/cover of the grandstand roof or in one of the function rooms open for the public..all with no charge.

Eftpos will be available from selected betting windows and bars but there is no credit card facilities.

The Ruakaka Racecourse is a NO BYO Alcohol venue. Full terms and conditions of entry are detailed in the ABOUT SECTION of this website.
